Sir, – Every week Conor Pope gives us yet another tale of consumer despair, usually from someone who has given up all hope of getting answers or compensation from some retail company that seemingly couldn’t be bothered responding to emails or phone calls.
He usually concludes his report by telling us he contacted the company, got answers or explanations, often an apology, and reassures the complainant that the case is sorted.
My question is: how come Conor Pope can get through to these companies when nobody else can? Could he share his secret passcode with the rest of us? – Yours, etc,
