Sir, – In response to your Pricewatch article about a gentleman who missed his train and subsequent debacle with Irish Rail I must point out how lucky we are, in Galway, to have Citylink bus services to Dublin city and airport.
I know when I arrive back to the country regardless if my flight is early (rarely) or delayed that the helpful Citylink bus driver will let me on any service assuming that it isn’t fully booked out. Just like the friendly gardaí at passport control, the Citylink staff provide a wonderful welcome home to everyone whether local or tourist. Credit where credit is due. – Yours, etc,
