Sir, – In a world that’s gone mad, where the news is constantly telling us how bad and mad everything is, in a world where we could sink in the despair of what’s going on, is it any wonder we love watching The Traitors?
Sure it gets us away from reality for a while and allows us watch other people lying and manipulating and becoming paranoid in the drama of it all. We watch the worst and best in people who ultimately want to win and boy do we relish it.
The difference is it’s not real and we know it’s a game. For anyone who thinks reality TV is rubbish, I for one think it’s therapy.
Once it’s not my drama, I love investing time in watching. It helps me forget about my own drama for awhile and that to me is self-care. – Yours, etc,
