Sir, – How clever of the Government to appoint the main contractor of the National Children’s Hospital as contractor for the bridge at Narrow Water (“BAM, criticised for delays in national children’s hospital, building €100m cross-Border bridge”, News, June 4th).

This appointment will ensure that the bridge’s completion will align with the date of Irish unification. – Yours, etc,
