Time to bypass the red tape

Sir, – In “Fast-tracked Adare bypass may miss Ryder Cup deadline, Government told” (Business, January 12th), we learn that a relatively short 7km bypass of Adare requires the involvement of over a dozen State agencies.

And we wonder why it takes us so long to deliver large infrastructural projects! – Yours, etc,
