The Caption on a photograph in yesterday's Sound and vision pages stated incorrectly that the view was "as close as our photographer was allowed to get to the Corman film studio near Tully in connemara". This is not the case. Access to the studio was neither sought nor denied.

Erskine Childers was an elected president, contrary to what was stated in yesterday's An Irishman's Diary. He defeated T.F. O'Higgins (FG) in 1973.

The presentation to the former Tanaiste, John Wilson, and to Batt Garvey, who played opposite each other in the Cavan-Kerry match in 1947, will be made tonight at 9.30 at Ballyboden St Enda's GAA club, Dublin, where they are both members.
