Moscow - The Russian President, Mr Boris Yeltsin, said yesterday that he shared some of Mr Anatoly Kulikov's tough views on separatist Chechnya.
But he also criticised the Interior Minister for not consulting him before making a recent hardline statement on Chechnya, and the Kremlin stressed that the president's policy of seeking peace through negotiations had not changed.
