A VERY welcome gate crasher at Wednesday's launch of the development plan by the Dublin InnerCity Partnership in St Andrew's Resource Centre on Dublin's Pearse Street was Norma Smurfit, who was there representing Focus Point. Through the organisation First Step, she has concentrated on creating employment so she is particularly interested in the work of The Partnership, which aims to alleviate inner city deprivation through creating employment opportunities.
