A mother and daughter last night appeared in Craigavon Magistrates' Court in Northern Ireland on paramilitary-related charges. Ms Muriel Gibson (52), from Cornwall in England, was charged with the killing of Mr Adrian Lamph (29), who was shot dead by loyalists at a council depot in Duke Street, Portadown, on April 21st, 1998. She was also charged with possessing a firearm.

Her daughter, Ms Rain Landry, of the same address, was accused of causing an explosion and arson at a butcher's shop. Ms Gibson replied "Not guilty" when charged while her daughter said "No comment".
