Woman questioned after fatal Belfast stabbing

A 34-year-old woman was being questioned by the RUC today after a man was stabbed to death in Belfast overnight.

A 34-year-old woman was being questioned by the RUC today after a man was stabbed to death in Belfast overnight.

William Samuel McClune (34) died in hospital following the stabbing at a house in Invernook Drive, East Belfast, at 9 p.m. yesterday.

Mr McClune was from Invernook Drive in Belfast. The RUC are treating his death as murder.

An RUC spokesman said: "A 34-year-old woman is currently in custody helping police with their inquiries."
