A woman was stabbed to death and another was injured in a dispute at a Belfast restaurant last night. A man was arrested and was being questioned by police after the incident, said the RUC. The women were stabbed in Cafe Society, a leading city centre restaurant at Donegall Square East.
All three involved in the incident were members of staff at the restaurant and the stabbing appeared to have resulted from a row in the kitchen.
The RUC said there was no sectarian motive for the death. The woman who died is understood to have been in her 20's and to have been stabbed in the chest.- (PA).
