A woman is expected to appear in court this afternoon over the death of an 81-year-old woman at her Northern Ireland home last week.
Maire Rankin was discovered by a relative on Christmas Day at the property on the Dublin Road, Newry. She suffered multiple injuries.
A 42-year-old woman is expected to appear in Newry Magistrates Court this afternoon.
A 39-year-old man questioned has been released from custody without charge.
