A Co Derry woman sobbed at Magherafelt Magistrate's court yesterday after she was cleared of a charge of threatening to destroy the home of a neighbour.
Magistrate Maurice McHugh held that there was a reasonable doubt in the case and dismissed the charge against Ms Rachel McCaw (26), a mother of three, from Parkview, Castledawson.
The court heard the threat was alleged to have been made by Ms McCaw the day before the home of Ms Tracy Hanson (22) was extensively damaged in a fire in which her four-yearold son sustained serious burns.
