Gardai are appealing for witnesses to a hit-and-run incident in Dublin last week in which an elderly woman who was crossing the road was seriously injured. It happened between 11.30 a.m. and noon last Friday at the junction of Griffith Avenue and Rathlin Road, Drumcondra.
