Gardaí at Sundrive Road in Dublin are investigating a serious assault which occurred on the inbound platform of the Drimnagh Luas Line at midday on Wednesday August 31st last.
A 19-year-old man was assaulted and taken to hospital.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the assault to contact them.
They are particularly interested in talking to a man who helped the injured teenager. This man is described as being 5 feet ten inches in height, of average build and with a goatee beard. He was wearing blue jeans, a grey sweatshirt and white runners. He was also carrying a black bag over his shoulder.
