Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for witnesses to a traffic collision that left a cyclist in a serious condition in hospital.

The crash between an articulated lorry and a cyclist happened at 7.30am today on the Swords Road at Cloghran, just north of the main Dublin airport roundabout.

The cyclist was seriously injured in the incident and was taken to Beaumont Hospital.

The driver of the truck was uninjured.
