New Watford manager Gianluca Vialli has appointed Ray Wilkins and Steve Coppell to the English first division club's coaching staff.

The ex-Chelsea manager takes over from former England manager Graham Taylor on July 1st.

Wilkins, 44, has been a manager at Queens Park Rangers and Fulham and was part of Vialli's coaching staff at Chelsea.

Coppell, 45, returns to soccer after he was sacked by Crystal Palace in August last year.

In an official club statement Watford said they had not made any approach to Brentford manager Ray Lewington, who has been linked to the club in recent media reports.
