The widow of a man who died more than 20 years ago has lost her Supreme Court appeal against a 1988 High Court order which dismissed her claim for damages in relation to the administration of her late husband's estate.

Mrs Barbara Hyland of Duncairn Terrace, Bray, Co Wicklow had claimed damages against the late Mr Michael J Lucas and against Mr Paul Butler and Mr Brendan Hyland for alleged breach of contract, breach of trust, negligence, misconduct and misrepresentation.
