Bujumbura - The head of the World Health Organisation's (WHO) operations in Burundi, Mr Kassi Manlan of the Ivory Coast, was found dead in Bujumbura, one of his colleagues and other sources said.

The body of Mr Manlan (55), who had been reported missing earlier yesterday, was found on the shore of Lake Tanganyika in a sailing club used by expatriates, three of the club's employees said.
