HOW'S this for dedication to party? FG's Michael Finucane was off in Italy for a week's skiing last month, but although he wasn't due to leave until the Saturday he felt he had to get back for the Limerick West FG dinner dance in Adare on the Friday. So, he left his hotel in Livigno at 6.30 a.m. by car for Bormio. From there he took a bus to Tirano station and then a three-hour train journey to Milan. After a taxi to the airport he flew Aer Lingus to Dublin and drove to Newcastle West. He made the dance, exhausted, at 9.30 p.m.
