A Dublin man who was kicked and beaten outside a chip shop in west Dublin a week ago has died in hospital. Mr Martin Devoy (25) was in a chip shop on Ballyfermot Road with his girlfriend at around 8.30 p.m. on December 27th. A row broke out and Mr
Devoy, of Ballyfermot Drive, was kicked and beaten by a number of people. He was taken to St James's Hospital where he died on Saturday.
A Garda spokeswoman said a file is being prepared for the DPP.
