Mexico City - The United States has reached agreement with Mexico to provide $4 billion in Export-Import Bank loan guarantees over two years for use by the Mexican government and private corporations to purchase US goods, a US official said on last night.

The plan, along with other bilateral agreements, is to be announced today at the conclusion of talks between President Clinton and President Ernesto Zedillo of Mexico.
