SIPTU bus drivers have followed their colleagues in the National Bus and Rail Union in calling off a threatened one-day strike, scheduled for today, pending Labour Court talks. The unions have been invited to present their case to the court this afternoon, after which Dublin Bus will make a reply.

The union's executives will meet tomorrow to discuss the outcome of the negotiations.
