Two US soldiers and an Iraqi interpreter were killed and two other American soldiers wounded on Monday when a roadside bomb hit a military convoy in Baghdad, the US military said.

The deaths from the attack that took place around 11:45 a.m. (8.45 a.m. Irish time) brought to 202 the number of US soldiers killed by hostile fire since the United States declared major combat over in Iraq on May 1st.
