A motorcyclist and elderly man were killed in separate road incidents today.
A motorcyclists (20) was killed in a collision with a tractor near Shangolden between Foynes and Ardagh in Co Limerick at 8 a.m.
Another man, in his early 80s, died in a road incident involving three vehicles on the main Mountmellick-Tullamore Road at 9.40 a.m. Nobody else was injured.
