A man died when his motorcycle crashed into a wall at Coolarne, Athenry, Co Galway, at around 9.30 p.m. last night.
One person was killed and two seriously injured in a head-on collision on the M1 motorway just outside Belfast yesterday afternoon. The RUC is investigating reports that one of the vehicles may have been travelling against the flow of traffic.
