Two injured in paramilitary-style attacks

A 55-year-old man was seriously injured in a paramilitary-style attack inBelfast, Co Antrim last night.

A 55-year-old man was seriously injured in a paramilitary-style attack inBelfast, Co Antrim last night.

The incident took place at 11.30 p.m. in the Donard Street area. The man is believed to have received gunshot wounds to both knees and the right wrist.

In a separate attack, a 20-year-old man was shot in both legs in the Egmont Gardens area of the city. The incident occurred at around 2 a.m.

Both men are said to be recovering in hospital.
