Two hurt in Tyrone petrol bomb attack

A petrol bomb attack on a house in Co Tyrone has left a youth (19)  in a critical condition in hospital.

A petrol bomb attack on a house in Co Tyrone has left a youth (19)  in a critical condition in hospital.

His 39-year-old father was also injured after a petrol bomb was thrown through the window of their home at Church Hill Road, Caledon, last night.

Fire and ambulance crews were called after the incident was reported at around 8.30pm.

Police said the older man was in a stable condition.

Police said they were treating the attack as attempted murder. Detectives have appealed for information.
