The two men arrested by police last night in an inquiry into the murder of David Sullivan in Co Fermanagh in 1998 have been released without charge.

The men, aged 23 and 24, were arrested yesterday. They were freed last night and a file was sent to the DPP.

The body of Mr Sullivan (51) was found buried in the remote Boho Bog in Belcoo in February 2000. Forensic tests found his body may had been in the bog for 18 months.

Mr Sullivan, who suffered from an advanced case of Parkinson's disease, had been missing from his home in Enniskillen since August 1998. A month later his car was found with false number plates in Co Cavan.

Last week, a man (22) appeared in court on charges of withholding information and perverting the course of justice in connection with the murder.
