Two men have been killed in separate traffic incidents in Dublin and Clare.

Two men have been killed in separate traffic incidents in Dublin and Clare.

Gardaí in Kevin Street in Dublin are investigating the death of a man in his 70s yesterday evening.

He was stuck by a car while crossing the South Circular Road at around 5.30 p.m.

A man in his 20s was also fatally injured in Clonlara, Co Clare when the car he was driving collided with a tractor at 6.45 p.m.

The man, from Parteen died this morning at Limerick Regional Hospital.

Three other people were seriously injured in the crash.

Neither of the victims of the two incidents have been named by gardaí.

Meanwhile, gardaí have named the two-year-old boy killed in Derrybeg, near Tynagh in Co Galway yesterday as Jordan Poland from Eyrecourt.
