Two people remain in hospital today after yesterday's collapse of a limestone staircase in the Natural History Museum in Dublin.
Both are are in a comfortable condition in St Vincent's Hospital, a spokeswoman for the Health Service Executive said.
Ten people were taken to hospitals in Dublin following the collapse, which happened in the oldest part of the 150 year-old building.
The museum is due to undergo a refurbishment as part of a €15 million programme, but that plan is on hold while a safety audit is done. It is expected to stay closed until the safety audit is completed.
Museum Director Dr Pat Wallace said he feared other parts of the Merrion Square building could be structurally unsound. The building, next to Government Buildings, dates back to the 1850s.
