Diyarbakir - Turkish troops have killed three suspected Kurdistan Workers' Party rebels in fighting in the south-east of the country, security sources said yesterday.

The clashes occurred on Tuesday night near the city of Tunceli and sources said the operation against the Kurdish rebels was continuing. There were no casualties among the Turkish military involved in the incident.
