Seven people died after anexplosion rocked a mine in east Turkey yesterday, the state-runAnatolian news agency announced today.
At least 16 other miners were injured in the blast at theKukurtlu minerals mine, located in the eastern province ofErzurum. All the dead and injured were now accounted for, theagency quoted Turkish officials as saying.
