A train crash will be staged in Maynooth railway station tomorrow morning by the Government's Emergency Planning task force.

A train crash will be staged in Maynooth railway station tomorrow morning by the Government's Emergency Planning task force.

It is the second in the series of exercises carried out by the taskforce and will involve gardai, emergency service from Co Kildare and health authorities in the HSE's Eastern region.

Commuter and mainline rail services will not be disrupted during the exercise which will take place after 11.30am. The exercises are intended test the agencies who respond to major incidents.
