Three people arrested in Dublin earlier this week in connection with the murder of Raymond Salinger in January have been released without charge.
The two men and a woman were held at Kevin Street and Kilmainham Garda stations, respectively, before being released. Gardaí said a file has been sent to the DPP.
Mr Salinger (40), was shot as he drank with friends in Farrell's pub on New Street, in the south inner city, on January 28th.
According to Supt Edward Quirke of Kevin Street Garda station, a man "singled out Mr Salinger who was standing at the counter and discharged a number of shots which hit him in the chest".
One man who was arrested yesterday is still being questioned at Kilmainham Garda station. Gardaí have extended his detention.
