Three released in Clare murder inquiry

Three men held in Limerick yesterday in connection with the murder last December of Seán Poland, have been released.

Three men held in Limerick yesterday in connection with the murder last December of Seán Poland, have been released.

Mr Poland was killed at his home in Blackwater, Ardnacrusha, Co Clare, late on New Year's Eve this year.

The arrested men were questioned under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act at Henry Street, Roxboro and Mayorstone Garda stations.

A file on the case is to be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
