Three men have appeared in court in Newtownards to face charges of attempted murder.
The charges relate to an attack in the town at the weekend that left a man (41) in a serious condition in hospital. The victim was allegedly dragged to a house in Ashfield Drive, where he was beaten and stabbed.
A 15-year-old, an 18-year-old and a 25-year-old appeared separately at Newtownards Magistrate's Court today
One of the accused, Mr Alfred Strain (25), from Ashfield Drive, Donaghadee, was also charged with threatening to kill a woman and unlawful imprisonment.
All three have denied the charges. They were remanded in custody.
Two other men were remanded in custody yesterday, charged in connection with the same incident.
