LONDON - Police were last night hunting a killer who broke into a man's Camden Town flat, stole two bank cards - then tied him to a bed and left him to die.

It is believed the ordeal of a police vehicle maintenance worker, Mr Alan Holmes (53), lasted 10 days before police forced their way into his home and found him seriously ill. He died the next day in hospital.
