Supermarket group Tesco said today it had agreed to swap six stores and two sites in Taiwan for 15 of French retailer Carrefour's stores in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
Tesco said it would pay a net $57.4 million as part of a deal that sees both retailers leaving countries in which they have relatively low market shares to consolidate positions of strength in others.
