Fancy playing cops and robbers online? Choose your side in this a massive multiplayer online game where you are either a Criminal or an Enforcer. Up for grabs is the city of San Paro. You and your crew will be matched against an opposing squad of similarly skilled players, with plenty of missions to complete and acres of territory to explore. APB's matchmaking engine is pretty sophisticated, creating matches according to your threat level. The missions help you earn cash to spend on upgrades for weapons, equipment and even clothing. This ties in to APB's other real strength: customisation. But as is often the case, the missions can get a little dull and repetitive. APBis also dependent on people going online – a lack of opposition means the missions will be uneventful and over quickly.
