THE Fianna Fail deputy leader, Mrs Mary O'Rourke, and her party colleague Mr Eamon O Cuiv will visit Ms Roisin McAliskey in Holloway Prison this afternoon.
The German authorities have sought Ms McAliskey's extradition in connection with the IRA mortar attack on the Osnabruck British army base. She faces another court hearing this morning in relation to extradition. According to Mr O'Cuiv, he and Mrs O'Rourke are visiting Ms McAliskey "to highlight our concern about her medical condition and that of her unborn child. She is over six months pregnant and it seems strange that it is impossible to give bail to someone in her condition."
Meanwhile an ad hoc all party committee has been established to support the campaign on behalf of Danny McNamee, who is serving 25 years imprisonment in Britain.
