An Amsterdam-Zurich Swiss International Air Lines flight made an emergency landing at Frankfurt Airport this afternoon after two of its four engines failed, the airline and German authorities said.

The plane, carrying 51 passengers and five crew members, made the emergency landing without difficulty at about 10.20 (Irish time), the airline said in a statement.

No one was injured in the incident.

The cause of the engine failure was being investigated, the airline said.
