Gardai in Ronanstown are investigating following the discovery of a suspect device under a vehicle in Clondalkin last night.
The alarm was raised shortly after 11pm when the device was found under a camper van parked in the Shancastle Lawns area.
Army bomb disposal experts were tasked and the device was declared to be a ?viable object?.
The area has been reopened and a technical examination is underway.
