PEOPLE with disabilities still cannot attend any of Limerick's cinemas, according to an access survey of the city conducted by Democratic Left. The survey dealt primarily with wheelchair and pram access to buildings.

It found that 86 per cent of buildings in Limerick were, totally or partly inaccessible to the disabled or those with prams, and 40 per cent of parking spaces for disabled drivers had been occupied by able bodied users.
