Tesco Ireland is to expand its Internet grocery shopping service throughout much of Ireland this year, writes Anne Byrne.

Tesco Ireland is to expand its Internet grocery shopping service throughout much of Ireland this year, writes Anne Byrne.

The service was expanded yesterday to include 120,000 homes in Galway city and on the northside of Dublin. Some 530,000 homes, or more than 1.5 million people, can now shop at Tesco over the Net.

Tesco is offering 10,000 products on-line, representing more than 90 per cent of all regular customer purchases.
