Hakan Sukur's agent insists the Turkey international striker will not be moving to Rangers.

Hakan Azman, who earlier this week warned Rangers they would have to stump up a Stg£1 million a year salary, today claimed Sukur would not be joining the Ibrox side.

Sukur has been without a club since leaving Parma in the summer and the new transfer window regulations, which prevent club-to-club transactions from taking place until January, do not apply to unemployed players.

Azman said: "I have just spoken to his brother and he said they would not be going to Glasgow."
