JAKARTA - About 100 Indonesian students took to the streets yesterday in South Sulawesi to protest over the death of their colleagues during last week's demonstrations.

Residents say six students, were killed and hundreds wounded in clashes last week in Ujung Pandang, the provincial capital of South Sulawesi. The army says only three students were killed, drowned in a river while trying to escape from troops after protesting against higher bus fares.
