A strong earthquake has hit western Greece causing minor damage but no injuries.
It had a magnitude of around 5.8 and its epicentre was on the seabed 180 miles west of Athens.
The quake caused cracks and other limited damage to some buildings, officials said.
Mr Gerasimos Papadopoulos, a seismologist at the Athens Geodynamic Institute, said there could be strong aftershocks. He advised "utmost care" for people whose homes had already suffered damage.
