The Ministers for Health and Education laid the foundation stone for a major extension at Dublin Dental Hospital and School of Dental Science in Lincoln Place yesterday. Two new dental clinics will incorporate 40 state of the art dental surgery units, and the building will include an operating suite and an accident facility.

The development will enable the hospital to expand its services by 40 per cent. More than 2,000 people seek treatment at the Dental Hospital each week.
