MOST were very neutral, very bland - presumably the way the market likes them. These two just tasted slightly fresher:
Finches Still Irish Spring Water (widely available from independents, 2-litre plastic bottle rsp 99 pence). Bottled under the Finches label by one of the five Irish producers with natural mineral water status - they'd rather not say who - this one curiously tasted more appealing to our panel than its twin brother. See Bottles of the Week.
Ballygowan Still Irish Natural Mineral Water (very widely available, 2-litre plastic bottle rsp 89 pence, 1-litre glass bottle rsp 79 pence). The still water from the Irish market's brand leader has a refreshing little bit of bite.
